The first experience of a plasterer! Plastering under tiles on plaster beacons in their own hands.

  • Dec 24, 2019

Greetings, dear readers!

Decided to share the first experience plastering walls. Many familiar advised to make a mixture of gypsum plaster, but I wanted "on the classics" - the cement-sand mixture (hereinafter DSP), as it is a bathroom - and is likely to be better DSP, and tile adhesive surely sticks together is stronger than gypsum.

The first step is a laser level I made a plaster beacons using a metal guide profile for attaching drywall.

Did not want to mess around with metal profile beacons as to avoid rust, they should be removed and again throwing the resulting mixture Stroebe.

Laser exposed levels in plane with wall plaster cake thrown 4 - top, bottom and two therebetween (see. illustration), and then trample their rule to the laser marker.

After 10 minutes (after the cakes seized), fill in the gaps with a mixture of gypsum and prislanil to stop guiding profile! So did all the beacons.

The distance between the beacons on the long walls left 90 cm.

All lighthouses have turned out perfectly flat. After removal of the profile remains smooth over some hollows, where not fully been produced impingement mixture. Beacons became clear that the plaster will turn impressive - in some places up to 2 cm, as it was necessary to cover the wiring, plus uneven masonry walls..

Preparation of a mixture of plaster and stucco process

DSP done in a proportion of 1 to 4, happened 1 to 5, t. K. If the mixture gets too liquid, adding sand. As the plasticizer used liquid cream soap.

Mixture sketched conventional trowel (trowel) pre-drench wall. Since the walls were wet mixture to grasp it is not fast, so I could freely throw half square meters and then quietly cut off the remnants of spending rule on beacons.

As a result, it took about 3 days to complete plastering 21 sq. m. walls. It took only 2 bags of cement and 5 times more sand. For smooth plaster strongly not followed, as the top will be laid tile, and paid special attention to just leveling mixture lighthouses, t. E. on the plane of the wall.
