Today I would like to share with you how I produced a twist of copper wires at home at rasklyuchenii junction boxes.
Twisting the wire is carried out by means of screwdriver or drill at low revs.
To create a device need any wide washer, threaded rod and nuts 3. So, instead of the stud bolt can be used!
The first step, the washer is clamped in a vise and drill holes in the circumference of the washer a little larger than the diameter of wires are twisted. In my case, I used a drill bit d = 2,5 mm. and pin 8 mm. 10 cm long.
The maximum number of wires is twisted section 2.5kb. mm. I had a 6 pcs., in a circle so I'm more than 6 holes did.
After drilling holes in the washer and threaded stud nuts attracted.
After that, the whole structure assembly is fixed in the cartridge and you can continue to produce the twist.
How to make twist the wires?
1. The wires are stripped and infest ends in bores washers about 1 cm.
2. At the base of twisting pliers / pliers second hand fixed bundle of wires.
3. Twisting itself is done at low rpm power.
4. After twisting remove the washer and the remaining pieces of wires bite side cutters, or optionally they can tighten the same pliers.
5. Stranding ready. It can be left as it is and to isolate, but it is better to make soldering or welding wires!
