Me and my family - this berry lovers. When we purchased the land, I wondered about the use of land for its intended purpose, and the first thing went to the exhibition of fruit crops.
And happiness, at one of the stalls were all forced by many seedlings of fig varieties. During the conversation, the peasant sells advised to buy this particular variety, since, according to him, he raises his or decades, and they also tested this strain on the frost at -35 ° C.
Why this sort?
- "Honey wrist" - really frost-resistant varieties. Checked personally that brings frost under a light shelter to -20 ° C, and we live in the Rostov region, where winter temperatures reach -30 ° C.
- Low-growing varieties, according to open sources, the 10-year bush is at a height of not more than 3 meters.
- The only variety that bears fruit in the first year (tested personally!)
- The most productive variety of existing in Russia. Under each sheet 1 to 2 of berries (Again personally checked!)
- Remontant grade (Fruiting twice a year).
My experience
When we bought a seedling in height he was about 20 cm. After he was put on the site - in the first month of the kidney shows the first berries by the end of the summer season - he already was 80 cm.
Fruits figs in this class twice a year (sort remontant), at the first appearance of a positive temperature - active sap flow begins, is already producing in May - a small harvest.
Each base sheet at least one berry
When we first tried the figs and the more grown up and on their same site - it did not pass! He is really very tasty and melts in your mouth. Fruits are moderately sweet with a honey flavor.
