After the purchase and delivery of bricks made on the construction site, you can start giving products of different colors.
As promised in the previous article, I will tell about how aging brick by applying colored impregnation.
impregnation methods:
- using a spray gun;
- using brush / roll;
- dipping into the composition.
A more preferred method of impregnating - dipping, as by immersion in the impregnating brick - there complete filling of micropores products, with consumption and slightly increased, but you get the quality of many years. When using a spray gun or brush - a little less consumption, but also the depth of impregnation products remains small.
For impregnation is required:
- Prepare a container, which is the size required for staining the verge of products (I would take plastic containers, cut along the seam adhesions in their production).
- Prepare a brick. The product must be dry!
- Pour the product and dilute in the desired ratio (with permission of the manufacturer). Stir.
- Prepare the place where the products are stored for later drying. It is important not to pile up bricks in the brick, since freshly impregnation - wears.
- Dipping brick to a depth required for color depending on the depth of the joint laying.
- Withstand brick composed of about 2-3 seconds.
- Place the soaked side up on the prepared place for drying. Drying takes place for 15 minutes.
- Similar actions to produce every element involved in the masonry.
From practice, 8000 brick was painted for 3 weeks. But believe me - it's worth it! For painting different shades - use multiple containers.
