We are talking about varieties of tomatoes "Banana feet." I usually spring planting tomato varieties tested, - cold-resistant in the open ground, heat-loving in a greenhouse. Seed stock up in the winter to grow seedlings in time. But somehow already in the spring, on the counter with the seed I was attracted by the packaging with unusual yellow fruit oblong, similar to peppers.
Thought experiment I was not hurt. Planted "feet" like the rest of the seeds of tomatoes, in the capacity for germination.
All seedlings grow strong, and the newcomers were extended in thin twigs. Yes, and I bought them too late, and therefore planted much later than others. I thought that the sense will not be with them, but was mistaken.
How to grow "my", "Banana Feet"
The new variety, I did not put in the greenhouse. I thought that if the plants they want to live, grow, and in the open. And I planted them in a bed of small and puny, without any previous picks.
Over time, the tomato seedlings "Banana Feet" walked on growth, even one that is basking in the greenhouse. I snapped at the lower shrub leaves, thin stems that there was enough light.
At the end of June 10 bushes of the new varieties were caked with buds, and in the middle were hidden little balls - ovary. But these balls as growth began to stretch in length.
My seven year old granddaughter said feet is not the case with bananas, although long considered green fruit, and called them the legs of an elephant (the mouth of the child says is true).
Indeed, two weeks later the fruits of yellow color were resilient, thick-skinned, with a dense texture. Branches with tomatoes reminded me of Christmas garland - each hung at least 10 tomatoes and sprigs of each bush was 4-5 pieces.
Bushes grew a height of 80 cm. I have not become a pinch during the growth, and did the right thing, because all of the ovary is formed on a stepson!

For yellow tomatoes I especially did not care for, both giants in the greenhouse. Just slipped ash under every bush - that's all the food settlers. The summer was rainy, cool, to some bushes other varieties attached blight (such I immediately deleted and burned). But the "Banana Foot" this disease is not even touched.
Of yellow fruits, they gradually turned to orange and becomes softer. Such ripening tomatoes we eat. They taste completely without acidity is likely to sweet. My household members like. But I pickled yellow tomatoes. They, along with herbs in jars look very attractive.
Grade "Banana Feet" was very fruitful. On one bush, I was collecting about 5 - 6 kg of fruit and 10 how much! He regaled the neighbors, someone liked the taste, and some do not.
