A few years ago it was impossible to imagine that TrueRMS-Multimeter with automatic range switching, capable of measuring DC and alternating voltage, direct and alternating current, resistance, capacitance and frequency at 6000 readout and 0.5 percent accuracy may be less than 15 dollars. Today this device in my hand.
After my accurate multimeter It ceased to be precise due to a bug, I was about to buy back the same, but found little priborchik Aneng AN8001, made on the same chip, and promises to be no less accurate.

In fact, the meter is much more accurate than stated.
I checked DC voltage measurement via source model AD584 voltage to.
The first column is the value of reference voltage, the second - reading the meter.

The accuracy of about 0.1 V (device verified using standard showed exactly 1 volt lower than the actual voltage, the difference between this device and just exactly 1 volt).
Compared with Holdpeak HP890CN, built on the same chip, Aneng AN8001 very small.
In contrast to the larger instruments at the small multimeter no rubber body shell, but stand there.
Included probes, manual and a bag with a pretty strong chemical odor.
Probes are equipped with caps, closing almost all of the tip of the probe.
A long press Hold lights turned on for 12 seconds.
There acoustical continuity, which beeps more 0.5 seconds after the opening of the contacts. The device is very fast - 3 measurements per second. After 15 minutes, auto power off is activated (first warns a single peep, and then a minute later turned off, if you do not press the button).
You do not laugh at me, but having studied this unit, I ordered another one "in reserve".

p.s. More there AN8002 model with a thermometer, but AN8004 not worth taking - it is on a different chip. In Aneng AN8001 has two twin brothers from other manufacturers: ZT101 and RM101.
