Here are two charging for the iPhone. One real and one fake. It looks almost identical.


So maybe there is no difference in characteristics?

I have a very handy thing - electronic load ZKE EBD-USB.


It connects to a computer and can load the power supply current 0.1-4 A, measures the voltage, energy, (Ah, Wh), may operate in a USB-mode tester without generating load, and measuring the current and voltage passing through it. This thing is very useful for testing pauerbankov, measuring the amount of energy that is needed for charging smartphones and other gadgets, testing fast charging (electronic load can control the modes QC 2.0 and 3.0).


And at the electronic load has automatic testing mode power supplies. In this mode, it increases stepwise and measures the current voltage. This mode allows you to see at a glance which charging is good, and what not.

I set the start-up current 0.1 A to 0.1 A rise in just two seconds.

Test the original charge.


Set on charging the maximum current of 1 A. When the load current 0.1-1 A voltage is reduced very slightly from 5.13 to 5.09 V. Charging could give current 1.1 A, and at a current of 1.2 A worked sewn and charging disconnected.

And now we take the Chinese gymnastics, very similar to the real one. In fact, the difference can be seen by looking through a magnifying glass. In the original charge inscriptions paler, but very clear. In China - the blurred, and the Apple label and no model is not listed.


Measure.
Voltage above 5 volts, 5.11 volts rather only at very small currents - up to 0.3 A. By increasing the voltage drops. At a current of 0.7 A Voltage 4.83 V (this is even more or less normal) at 0.8 A - 4.67 V, with 0.9 A - 4.27 V, at 1 A - 4.00 V, and at 1.1 A only 1.91 V. At a current of 1.2 A voltage falls below 0.8 V and the electronic load ceases to torment poor Chinese Post.


Charge the smartphone from the original charge. Current 0.95 A, power of 4.84 W.


And now the Chinese charge. Current 0.74 A, power of 3.37 W.


After some time the current has decreased to 0.5 A, power of only 2.36 W.


When the Chinese charge is extremely hot. Perhaps it does not even burn and no burn-loading device, but the smartphone it will charge twice as long.
