I bought Ninebot ES1 (ammo1.livejournal.com/995147.html) at the end of November 2018 for $ 249 (about 16 000). Fall I skated on it a little longer, until the snow fell. He continued this spring. Today run scooter is only 55 km.

Disadvantages, which I'll likely apply to all models Ninebot, as they are very similar in design.

In addition to the major shortcomings and failures, there is still a frustrating little things:

1. The manufacturer promises a mileage of up to 25 km. In fact, in the "White S" with my weight of 110 kg (plus, usually 5 kg of clothes and a backpack) charge lasts for 9-10 km. I assume that even with the weight of 80 kg, the battery will last no more than 15 km.

Even a small hill rides the scooter with difficulty, reducing the rate of up to 10-14 km / h. Good work, if a couple of times to push off leg.

2. Scooter weighs 12.5 kg. This is quite a lot and carry it with you in public transport is not very convenient. My previous elektrosamokat weighed 7.7 kg, and the difference in weight is felt very strongly.

3. The charger is large and heavy, but it must at all times carry.


4. The folding mechanism is not very convenient. To fold the scooter, you need to click on the very tip of the pedal, otherwise you'll have to make a very big effort to load it. Scooter can be decomposed only when it is on the ground. To unfold the need to bend down and click on the rear wing, which is often dirty.


5. The display no odometer (odometer). It is only in the application, but is turned off when the scooter (e.g., when going in transport), with a telephone connection breaks off, and the current trip counter is reset. We have to take screenshots at the beginning and end of the trip, in order to calculate the distance traveled by the total counter.


I guess I was very scared of those who planned to buy Ninebot, but still did not. However, in general, it is a very good scooter and most of the problems, which I wrote, can be solved. But it is better to know about them in advance. Now you know.
