I recently I told about the wild situation that led to the fact that fraudsters sold the apartment without the consent of its owner. The apartment was sold by proxy. Late last month, I went to the "My Documents" and wrote a statement prohibiting transactions with the apartment without my personal involvement.
Then, many people asked, and how to ensure that the ban is set. I assumed that my documents will come back, but a couple of days ago, found in the mailbox notification of the registered letter.
I went to the post office, received, and it was an official letter from the Russian Register, confirming the introduction of recording "It is impossible to state registration of rights without the personal involvement of the right holder" in the Unified State Register property.
Let me remind you, it is absolutely free and all you need to do to protect your apartment from thieves - to go to the "My Documents" and say that you want to make such a ban. It needs only a passport. Nothing filling is not necessary - will do everything and give the documents to be signed. It can be accessed at any center "My Documents", and not just at the apartment.
If you are the owner of an apartment, especially if you rent an apartment, do not be lazy and make the ban!
