TV choice for the bedroom took me over a month and ended the purchase of 32 500 rubles and 40-inch models Samsung UE40MU6400U.
Sometimes, when the power does not remain on the important things, I want to lie in bed and watch a good movie or something interesting on YouTube. To this end, I decided to have a TV in the bedroom and hang it on the maximum height of the ceiling (as most convenient to watch TV lying down).
At first I wanted to buy some inexpensive SmartTV LG, because I really like their remote Magic Remote with a scroll wheel, but Then I was faced with the fact that the vast majority of televisions have ripple backlight when it is less than intensity 100% (ammo1.livejournal.com/960634.html).
No ripple in all modes only SONY TV. I already set his sights on the Sony KDL-43WE755 Truliminous with technology (the Samsung's called QLED), but when I watched it live, I confused not very good sound built-in speakers, the lack of "uplavneniya" image, slow work, old-fashioned console and not the most comfortable menu. Looking ahead, I will say that all "uplavnyalki" from his new TV I turned off - without them, the picture is much more natural.
Then I discovered that Samsung is last year's model (MU with the letters in the name), in which there is no ripple in the range of adjusting the backlight 50-100% (40MU64xx) and 65-100% (43MU61xx) and decided to take an older model smaller size - 40MU6400 (and still have 40MU6450 40MU6470, in which a metal panel, and each other, they differ in color framework).
Perhaps the problem of pulsation is not so terrible - it was found that the optimal brightness of the backlight for my TV 100%, and its decline may be necessary unless for viewing in the dark, but I always look at the TV light. Most likely, it was possible to take and the LG, and any other television, which has a ripple only when illumination intensity is less than 100%, and always watch it at maximum brightness.

Speed
Shustrost this TV is amazing. The TV turns on for 1.5 seconds (even if before he was pulled out of the socket). Another TV, and especially the TV on Android is not dream - it to turn on and boot the system requires unity, and sometimes tens of seconds.
Analogue channels are switched for 0.6 seconds. Digital - for 1.2 - 4 seconds (there's nothing to be done - such technology).
All change, all the menu, all of the modes are working very, very quickly.
Mind
Many things in this TV surprised. For example, if you watch video on YouTube and turn off the TV (remote control only, not from the wall outlet), then after switching on he will start showing the same movie from the same place. Similarly, it saves the status of any application.
Control
In Europe, this TV is sold with two remote controls - a little-the Bluetooth remote control with microphone voice commands and conventional IR remote control with 44 buttons. We have - with one Bluetooth-control. I bought a copy on Aliexpress second panel (a copy was not very - the buttons hard and uncomfortable), but in practice they do not use.
Control is made so that the panel with 9 buttons and the ring is enough and it is more convenient than a conventional panel. Almost everything is done without the traditional menu with the elements, changing the screen. This intuitive and convenient enough.
Voice commands often help to abandon the text input when searching for videos on YouTube and search on the Internet. They also can control your TV (switch channels and sources, adjust the volume).
Conveniently, the remote does not need to be sent to the TV and you can even use it under the covers. :)
Picture
Before buying the "experts" frightened that Samsung poisonous acidic colors. In fact it turned out the other way around - mostly pastel color modes, and enough saturated. After numerous attempts to achieve a perfect image (multiple settings in the menu image, including fine adjustment of color with hundreds of parameters), I settled on a standard mode "Dynamic".
This TV is one feature. If a picture is removed contrast, it looks perfect, but if it is a little contrast-free, this "low-contrast" much emphasized. The difference between contrast and low-contrast scenes on a computer screen is almost invisible, and the TV is striking. It is almost impossible to convey in the photo, but I'll try to show anything. Here is the original picture from YouTube.

It is evident that the TV processor tried to correct the white balance, increased clarity of the objects in the background, but her face was no contrast.
I have to this feature was already used and the image is quite happy.
By the way, the TV has a 4K (3840x2160 pixels), but the meaning of this 40-inch screen with viewed from a distance of no more than two meters: difference c FullHD (and sometimes with 720p) catch impossible.
analogue reception
As is known, analog broadcasts are going to turn off 10 January, but analogue signal cable, apparently, is not going anywhere, so the quality of analog TV reception is still relevant.
TV shows analogue TV channels as well as possible, as much as possible. Of course, the picture is far from ideal, but it is much better than my Panasonic plasma TV 50ST30.
What to look for?
We have TV satellite tuner, so it can be connected directly to a satellite dish and watch the open channels, and if you rearrange it access card from the satellite receiver, then closed.
YouTube client is very convenient.
MeGoGo application allows you to watch free TV channel 21 (including federal) in FullHD-as over the Internet. The first month gives access to a large number of channels. Then for them already have to pay, but 21 channels, you can still watch for free.

View from the windows share folders on your computer, unfortunately, no. There is a "crutch" in the form of Smasung PC Share Manager application to be put on a computer and add it shared folders. It works it's not perfect - some reason when connecting your TV to a network via a cable, computer the device list is not visible, but when you connect with WIFI usually it works, but sometimes the computer disappears. Throw in a folder, the new film is not enough - it will not appear in the list of files on the TV. It is necessary to open the PC Share Manager and click it to "upgrade" button.
Probably there are more convenient way of watching movies from your computer, but I have not found them yet.
Integrated player friendly enough, but for some reason every time include subtitles when you start watching a new movie.
In general, the result of the selection of the TV I'm satisfied. There are some minor drawbacks, but the pros far outweigh.
Unfortunately, in 2018 all models simplified and has deteriorated and there IR remote with lots of buttons without voice control and ripple throughout the adjustment range, but 100%. TV 2017 on sale still there, but they are less and less and the price is not so low. But now, you can still have time to "jump into the last car" and buy a great tv.
