It is time to tell you why the last week in my blog out old posts, and I did not respond to e-mail and posts in social networks.
All this time I was going through Extreme training course learning English with the "dipping"Organized language training center "Freedom of speech"In the suburban boarding house Bekasovo.
The course includes 128 hours of training (usually the amount of training is extended for a year). Classes are held every day from eight in the morning until eleven at night. In the hotel at the same time receive training three groups, differing initial level of knowledge of the language, - elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate and children's group.
Before going through the course, I spoke on the phone with the Methodist Center and passed the written exam. According to the results I have identified in the "middle" group - pre-intermediate.
All eight days of the comprehensive ban on conversations in Russian, both in the classroom and outside it. In the boarding house restaurant for the participants of the training specifically allocated a separate room, where all communication takes place in English. Of course, the phone no one chooses and with family and colleagues to communicate in Russian is possible, provided that the other participants will not hear. However, during the training, many even with close contact in the messenger in English.
To completely switch to English on the training time necessary to take a pseudonym, not like a real name. In our group were Smart, Santa, July, Jenny, Basil, Mr. White, Black Jack, Triz, Shanty, Rosa, Frank, Diana, Carrie, Elza. I took the pseudonym Mike in memory of my father.
Every morning started at 8 am with a song. First, each received text songs with missing words, that it was necessary to write this song.
Then we took turns reading the text line-by-line, and the teacher corrects us and helped with the words that could not hear. Finally, the chorus sang the song in the text on the sheet.
After the song - a run on the charge.
Each came up with their exercise out in the center of the circle and explained (of course, in English), how to do it.
Only after this breakfast.
After breakfast, begin classes. In each group, two teachers. For us it was JJ and Tori. Our group got a big - 15 people. In the first two days teachers can transfer people from group to group according to their level. After the first day of class two of our group was transferred to the elementary, and the next day the three came to us. Part of the activities carried out for the entire group, and for part of the training group is divided in half and each of the teachers taught their part of the group separately.
Twice a day, classes are held in the computer lab.

The announcer pronounces English words or phrases in the left ear, and Russian words or phrases in the right. Following the speaker, we repeated the English words aloud. Then you can turn on, when shown only Russian phrase or word and the need to translate them into English, checking himself.

After the class lunch and a half hours of rest. Many at that time went to the pool. After a rest again and again computer class sessions.
During many sessions the group is divided into pairs, triples or quadruples, and each time in different ways, and each time to talk to everyone.
In addition, every morning there is a division into pairs (in the first two days the pair appoints a teacher, then everyone is looking for a mate on their own, but not necessarily every time a new one). During the day, you need to communicate with your partner to find five common things (similarities), which will need to tell the whole group in the evening. For example, our similarities with Smart was 46 shoe size, with Triz - what we once were pioneers, with Rosa that each of us hears Relax FM radio.
Of course, if you deal with every day from morning till night you can go crazy, so between classes several times a day teachers staged our active games and entertainment (all in English). For example, the game Cross the Golden River, the meaning of which is to have time to run across the line in a time when some of those who have already deserted her, calling item of clothing, which is in thee.
Every evening after dinner started, "English Club" - the biggest entertainment in English.
Over the days, it was "Brain Ring", "Auction" (it was necessary to come up with a lot, advertise it and sell at the maximum the price of virtual money), "News Release" (had to write and show comic news release Bekasovo Republic. Here, for example, news with sign language. :)
On another day, it was necessary to come up with a set of Bekasovo Republic laws.
On the last day - a performance on a given topic in a given genre. We went to "The Three Little Pigs" in the genre of "horror". :)
Each day ended with summarizing.
Everyone had to highlight three things for a day on a given topic (eg on the day when this photo made it were very refreshing (refreshing), the warmest (warmest) and the most pragmatic (pragmatic)) and justify their choice.
The first and last day we passed several tests - in the knowledge of the words "passive" (the words are familiar) - on the screen are 4500 words, spoken by the announcer. You need to click the counter, if a word is familiar, but at the same time to repeat it aloud; on knowledge of the words "asset" - it was necessary to write a translation 100 English words; on the ability to translate the proposals from Russian into English and construct sentences correctly; on the ability to perceive the English language at the hearing.
During the training period I have the number of the words "passive" has increased from 2523 to 3338. Spoken word "Active" from 59% to 70%. Grammar from 57 to 89 points. Listening from 70 to 80%. My level of English at the beginning of the training was evaluated as Elementary Confident, after training as Entry Pre-Intermediate.
Upon completion of training, all received certificates and coupons for a 15% discount for further training.
More than half of people are coming to the training on the recommendation of friends and acquaintances. Many families come, because in our group engaged two girls whose husbands were in the other groups, and the son of one of them in the children's group. Many come from other cities in our group there were two of St. Petersburg, three of Krasnodar, one man from Kazan, Tomsk, Rostov region. Five of our group received training for the second time.

They were very rich, useful and funny eight days. I am sure none of us laughed so much over the past few months, as we laughed at the training.

Of course, miracles do not happen, and in eight days it is impossible to learn the language perfectly, but eight training is almost always possible to reach the next stage in the study of the language and I can confidently recommend the training to anyone who wants to quickly improve your English tongue.
