TV choice in sleeping be challenging (ammo1.livejournal.com/955722.html), But still I found the best option.
In a large room in my 50-inch plasma TV in the bedroom under the ceiling hanging bracket, the remainder of the TV 26 "(ammo1.livejournal.com/957474.html). TV Location from the ceiling at first glance unusual and uncomfortable, but in fact it is the best location to watch TV lying down, and the head of an electric lift beds (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/116736.html) Makes viewing even more comfortable.
Although the distance from the eyes to the TV is 2.8 meters, I basically did not want a big TV in the bedroom - it will be used as an auxiliary. Most likely I will look at it and some Youtube videos transmission channel Moscow-24, perhaps we watch American TV shows from your computer.
26-inch TV that hung there before, quite enough, and at first I wanted to buy a simple 32-inch TV, but in the selection process still decided that the best would be a TV 40-43 ".
TV will not be used in the dark, so I was not afraid of glare IPS-matrix (in the bedroom to see in total darkness always recommend VA-matrix in which the better in black color the dark).
I decided that the TV should be with SmartTV, to even YouTube videos, he could show himself.
Learning about the lighting pulsation problem televisions (ammo1.livejournal.com/955214.html), I decided that a TV in the bedroom should definitely be without pulsation. The choice of these TVs is small, so the option was not so much (all prices - minimal with Yandex. Market).
Entirely without pulsation Sony TVs:
Sony KDL-40WD653 - 24,000 rubles - a 40-inch model in 2016
Sony KDL-40WE663 - 27,600 rubles - a 40-inch model in 2017
Sony KDL-43WE755 - 28,600 rubles - a 43-inch model with a 2017 matrix TRILUMINOS
Sony KDL-43WF665 - 32,600 rubles - a 43-inch model in 2018
All sellers say they need to grab 43WE755, remains (inexpensive models 2018 TRILUMINOS not).
This TV's unusual system of forming a color image. Most LCD TVs use white LED backlight (remember, the white LED chip emits blue light, a phosphor converts it to white), further cost matrix LCD with color filters at each pixel (a pixel is known, RGB - red, green, blue). At TRILUMINOS blue LED backlight used, and instead filters over the red and green pixels of the array suffered a phosphor, which converts blue light into red and green. The result is a cleaner and better color rendition.
I looked at the store on the Sony KDL-43WE755. The picture is really very beautiful - the colors are bright, white snow-white. But a lot I did not like:
- Picture strongly twitches at any movement. Moving Panorama of spruce forest, taken from a helicopter, turns into a shimmering mess. Any adjustments to improve traffic there.
- Slow. TV turns 6 seconds.
- Big and awkward control. The second ring buttons around the base ring, severely hampered.
- Mediocre sound. Low frequencies are practically no.
- Primitive SmartTV. In fact, for anything other than Youtube and IVI can hardly count.
- External power supply unit, which according to some reviews quietly beeps in standby mode.
- Just two HDMI, no Bluetooth, no voice control.
Recently released a new model 43WF665, that few vendors have seen. Though there is no TRILUMINOS, it was hoped that the transfer of traffic will get better, the TV will run faster, it will have a better sound, and perhaps a better SmartTV. Visually, watching TV the other (in my opinion ugly) legs. The remote is the same.
I managed to find in the store 43WF665, and, as far as possible in the store environment, to compare it with 43WE755. The difference in the picture, regardless of the difference matrix, I did not notice. Movement twitches, alas, just uplavneniya settings are still there. TV was turned on twice as fast (3.2 seconds), and most likely other operations (for example, switching channels) will be faster. The main screen looks different (it is all filled with "tiles" with a choice of a variety of sources, programs and modes), but according to the inhabitants of Sony Forum, after the upgrade will be the same interface and 43WE755. Compare the sound, unfortunately, it failed.
All went to the fact of taking Sony KDL-43WE755, but then I came across the Samsung TVs "with almost no ripple." It turned out that the sixth series Smasung adjust the backlight intensity of the work cleverly - at levels illumination 50-100% or 65-100% (depending on model), there is no pulsation completely, but at lower levels it appears.
Younger models sixth series MU61 ** no pulsation at 13-20 illumination levels at levels 0-12 pulsation is of frequency 100/120 Hz (depending on frequency 50/60 Hz input signal).
Older models (MU64 ** and curved MU65 ** / MU66 **) no ripple at values of 10-20 below appears, with the frequency of the PWM their 200/240 Hz.
I tried to assess whether it would be too much brightness 50%, below which due to pulsation would not want to go down. Measured the level of illumination on the white color in the shop: 100% - 330 lux, 50% - 149 lux. My monitor, for which I am writing this post, giving 105 lux at a comfortable 70%, television in the kitchen with a comfortable 50% gives 193 lx, so that 149 lux is likely to be quite normal.
He looked like shows Samsung 40MU6100. Did not like the white color looks gray, and decided that I needed to take something from the MU64 **. TVs in this series in Russian is not the size of 43 inches. Only 40 "and 49". In general, he sets his sights on one of the three models:
Samsung UE40MU6400U - 31600 rubles.
Samsung UE40MU6450U - 33400 rubles.
Samsung UE40MU6470U - 36200 rubles.
The differences are minimal: in 6400 a black plastic panel and silver frame.
In 6450 the same frame and metallic silver remote.
In 6470 a dark frame and silver remote.
Also in 6450/6470 using software technology local dimming screen Supreme UHD Dimming, and in 6400 just UHD Dimming.
In general, it turns out that you can safely take UE40MU6400U.
Due to very thin frames TV looks small. Switched on it is less than a second. He has the voice control in the Russian, Bluetooth, good SmartTV, good sound from a smartphone management. Headphone jack, as opposed to Sony, no, but you can use a Bluetooth-headset. Comes Blutooth-remote with very few buttons.
But TV is compatible with a normal IR remote control, so that, if a little remote will be uncomfortable, you can will use any learning remote (and I have a mountain of them) or buy on any console for Aliekspresse Samsung.
Of course the ideal would be brought home both Samsung and Sony and thoroughly compare them during the week, but it is difficult and there danger to stay with two TVs, if it does not return to the one who like it less so, perhaps, I will take Samsung.
