Noise
iFresh touted as the quietest system, so I started to measure the noise level.
I arranged the sound level meter at a distance of 1 m from iFresh housing so that the microphone was looking exactly at its center.

When iFresh off and the flap is closed, the day the instrument shows the noise level 35.4 dB, when the flap is open - 36.1 dB.
In the first speed readings remained virtually unchanged (36.2 dB) and engine noise can not be heard - it drowns out the noise of the street.
To accurately measure the noise iFresh, I spent the measurement at 5 o'clock in the morning, when it's no cars and almost silently:
iFresh off, the shutter is closed: 33.6 dB;
iFresh off, the shutter is open: 33.8 dB;
iFresh running on 1st speed: 34.1 dB;
iFresh operates 2nd speed: 38.5 dB;
iFresh operates at speed 3: 48.4 dB;
At the hearing iFresh work on the first day rate is almost inaudible, the second speed, the noise is clearly audible. He does not stop to talk near the instrument, without raising his voice, but it can be annoying. In the third speed setting noise is quite loud and stay with her in one room uncomfortable.
Air flow
For various sanitary standards must provide ventilation is between 10 and 100 cubic meters of fresh air per person per hour, often result in an "ideal number" - 60 m³ per hour per person.
By iFresh passport allows air inflow 40/80/120 m³ / h at 1, 2, and 3 speeds. In order to accurately measure the influx, I temporarily installed on the vent iFresh 125 mm, leading to the balcony.
It is possible to measure the volume of air flow at the inlet iFresh. When measuring the balcony door was closed, and all the windows open on a balcony.
According to the results of measurements of air flow was as follows:
Rate 1 - 29 m³ / h
2 Speed - 81 m³ / h
3 speed - 138 m³ / h
In the second actual flow rate is practically a declaration on the first rate it's almost a third less than the declared, but on the third it is 15% more than the stated amount.
CO2 levels
High concentrations of carbon dioxide, which in large quantities person exhales, leads to chronic fatigue, decreased concentration and efficiency, memory impairment and apathy (http://ammo1.livejournal.com/467022.html). Task ventilation installations - fresh air to vent carbon dioxide out of the room. According to the level of carbon dioxide concentration can determine the effectiveness of ventilation.
the carbon dioxide level outside is 400 ppm, and is practically independent of the location - in polluted Moscow street and on the nature level is almost identical. It is believed that levels up to 700 ppm CO2 are almost imperceptible to humans and the level up to 1000 ppm - valid. All that above, has a negative effect on the body.
The measurements were performed in a room 19 m ², with the real volume of about 40 cubic meters. Before measuring the room is well ventilated, then it closed the windows and turned on iFresh. To ensure good door air streaming into the room, the bathroom and the kitchen did not close.
When the room is one people, iFresh first speed copes - CO2 level is less than 715 ppm.

Pros and cons
At first glance, the design with filters after the fan seemed to me successful, but in fact it turned out that because of this through iFresh hear street noise. If the windows overlook the courtyard, most likely the noise will be heard, and he clearly heard on a busy street.
Filters iFresh quite small (but cheap!), And their attachment system is not the most successful. In the center of the filters can be loosely fitted to the heater and the part of the air can flow past them.
Quite uncomfortable that the installation can not be switched on and off without the remote. The new version promises to make the buttons on the body.
The heater is turned by hand, any automatic turn it on not, but maybe it's for the best.
Of course, the main buyers of the claim to the home ventilation systems - the high price. iFresh worth 29790 rubles (although some dealers are selling it for 25,500 rubles, and offer installation for 1000 rubles, and some assembly is free). It is difficult to understand why a pretty simple system costs twice as much air conditioning is much more complex. The reason is in circulation. Air conditioners are produced in millions, the number of issued home ventilation systems is much smaller, so the prices are quite high.
Home ventilation system - something necessary and useful. iFresh ensure an adequate supply of fresh air, with the room when one person is enough the first speed at which the system operates very quietly. When the room two people will have to turn on the second speed.
