My favorite recipe for crispy pickles for the winter

For the preparation we need:

  • 3 kg of cucumbers (I get five one-liter jars)
  • a small bunch of dill, or a couple of umbrellas,
  • leaves of black currant and horseradish
  • garlic teeth - 5 units (or 1 whole garlic small size of 3 kg of cucumbers).
  • black and allspice - to 6 peas in a jar,

  • sugar - 2 tbsp. l (per liter)
  • salt - 1.5 v. l (per liter)
  • Vinegar 9% - 1 st. l. (In liter jar)

These ingredients will last for two liter jars of gherkinsTherefore, for more workpieces, the proportion should be increased.

Thoroughly rinse cucumbers and fill them with cold water - even "pokisnut" in a form of about 6 hours. During this time, I usually prepare all the other ingredients - I wash the leaves and pre-prepare the necessary amount of spice.

Particular attention I pay sterilized jars and lids - wash them with baking soda and then warm up over a saucepan of boiling water.

When banks have cooled down a bit, I start to stack all ancillary components - herbs, garlic, leaves and spices.

And now the fun begins - zatrambovat in a jar as a lot of cucumbers, moreover, they can be cut even - so it will be easier to fill all the empty space.

Then just boil kettle and pour the boiling water into the jars for 15 minutes - thus still times thoroughly sterilized.

Now the hour marinade - pour into water pan and add salt, sugar, pepper, cloves, bring to the boil, then immediately add vinegar.

From that moment all we do very quickly - merge with cucumber boiling water and pour marinade over them, just spinning on the banks of the lid.
