Imagine that your currant thick grove finally ready for harvest - all broad-leaved currant bushes are covered with ripe berries, so that the branches bent to the ground... Well, you intrigued? Then I will not verbose, but rather reveal to you all their cards, as they say.

I think many gardeners know that the currants loves potato peels, because they concentrated all the nutrients of the root crop. Most of all she has to like potassium and starch, so why not "feed" plant is a favorite delicacy ?!

So, for the preparation of fertilizer we need only 2 uncomplicated ingredient: potato starchWhich can be bought in any supermarket, and ordinary water. Just I want to note that the recipe kopek, but very useful, believe me!

1. Prepare a large saucepan and vsypte therein 300 g of starch.

2. Pour starch 3 liters of water and the mixture slightly boil over low heat.

3. Chilled jelly, pour into a bucket and add another 10 L of water. Well, all this preparation process is finished fertilizer.

Before you fertilize the bushes starch solution, carefully pour the ground under currant with plain water - it must be wet. After that you can start fertilizing, watering should be at the very root, on average, on the bush I pour about 2-3 liters of fertilizer. You can feed the plant several times, for example, the first time I fertilized bushes before flowering, the second - in the beginning of fruiting.

According to my observations I can say with certainty that the fertilizer definitely like currants - I gathered a rich harvest of large and sweet berries. But do not count on only one feeding - you will see visible results only if the bushes will provide a comprehensive good care.
