Prototyping board - it is really an easy way to assemble the circuit. You do not need to solder - just simply connect the necessary components.

I like to use layouts for quick testing of new schemes.

You can create some really cool projects in the layout. For example, these Arduino projects.

If you do not know how to use layout, do not worry. It's very simple. Just read on this article.

Where to connect the components on the layout?

In the layout there are links between its ports. Some vertical and some horizontal connections connections.

Power on the sides

Normally, connect the power supply used vertical column on the left and the right. Each of these columns connected vertically. Thus, if you connect 5 volts to the upper opening of one of the side columns, you will have 5 volts in all holes in this column.

And in the middle of Electrical Layout

You connect your electronic components in the middle of the board. In Figure 1 you can see that each column marked with the letter A to J. Each line is marked with a number from 1 to 30.

For each series of connected holes from A to E, and from F to J. The gap in the middle divides the number into two parts.

Below you can see the right and wrong resistor connection:

If you want to connect the chip (chip), you need to connect it through a gap in the middle as follows:

Connection wires to the layout

To connect the wire to the layout, simply insert it into the hole.

It is best to use a single-core wire. Single core means that the wire has a solid core inside (unlike many tiny wires wrapped together)
