Paper trays out of the eggs is not just garbage, but a useful secondary material, which can be widely used in the garden and the garden. Today I want to tell you a few ways this application.

1. Bird feeders

From paper trays make great bird feeders.(Pictured above). They even have several advantages over wooden counterparts.

  • Feed of these feeders falls out and is divided in portions. This allows you to eat just a few feathered friends;
  • The cost of such feeders is zero. Enough free tray and old ropes;
  • The paper, which is made from the tray, it is harmless to birds. It does not contain dyes, stains and other chemical additives.

To create a hole needs to be done and to pass through them the rope. Trays originally perfect in shape and size.

Since paper tends to get wet and lose its shape, hanging feeders are better under awnings and roofs.

2. for seedling container

Of paper cells make excellent natural peas for planting. They are suitable in shape, size and compact bonded to each other.

Before planting, it is not necessary to remove the seedlings from the cells. Enough to split pots scissors and planted in the ground. Natural paper and will decompose quickly razmoknet. Plant roots do not feel any resistance or discomfort. Water balance and breathability will not be violated.

Inside the kind of paper and cardboard are vegetable fibers that are completely dissolved in the soil and does not accumulate as chemical fertilizer.

For the seedlings need to take only natural paper cell without inscriptions, logos and drawings. Colored trays is also no good. As part of the already contained paint, which will be harmful to the soil.

3. Firing the stove or campfire

Paper trays are perfectly lit, so they can easily be used for firing the stove or fire. Cells better combustion, if you add them to the dry grass, birch bark, small chips or other combustible material.

Such trays can safely kindle a fire, the ash from which it will be used as fertilizer. Burning, the cell will not leave harmful impurities and sediments.

4. As raw material for compost

Paper trays out of the eggs can be safely used as a raw material for compost. To do this, they need to be cut into small pieces, soak and send it to compost pit, mixed with green residues (Tops, weeds, etc.).

Can be used for compost boxes with inscriptions and images, as now in the ink hardly contains harmful substances. However, I would advise to use only clean, completely gray cells. (Such as they were before, remember?)

5. To mark beds

The ribbed surface of the tray is perfect for marking the beds before planting carrots and other horticultural crops. One touch we create up to 24 holes for planting.

In addition, the distance between holes is always the same, which ensures the availability of space for each plant.

If the soil is loose enough, you can put pressure on the tray and gently move in opposite directions to push more wells.

6. As a filler for warm beds

If you decide to make a warm bed of autumn, paper trays are ideal for the lower layer. They hold heat well and eventually dissolve dirt, soil cellulose.

Before you lay down trays in a bed, they should be cut into small pieces so as not to create an air cushion. Together with the cells in the bottom layer can be laid cartons, newspapers and magazines.

For the beds will fit trays feeders and after marking the soil. That is, they can be used even for the third time.
