True lovers of "quiet hunting" can grow forest mushrooms on their own plot. To get a good harvest, you must first prepare the material for sowing. I will tell you about the basic methods for sowing a summer cottage with chanterelles, boletus and other types of mushrooms.
1. Just scatter disputes around the site
One of the most basic and simple methods. You can find spores in mushrooms under their caps. They are located in a lamellar or tubular layer (depending on what kind of mushrooms you are going to sow). Act very carefully, the work is almost jewelry.
You need to take freshly picked mushrooms and carefully cut their caps. Make sure the spores don't get out. Then walk with the resulting material around the perimeter of the site, scattering spores. Pay special attention to the area under the trees, as this is where mushrooms grow best.
I cannot say that the harvest of mushrooms will turn out to be colossal, but you will still see the result. And if you repeat the procedure several times, you can improve performance.
Mushrooms can also be dried for later use. It is advisable to dry them on the street. If there is a special drying, it will also work, the main thing is to set a suitable temperature - about 40 degrees.
Try shaking a dried mushroom over a clean sheet of paper. See how something is getting enough sleep? This is controversy.
2.Preparing a spore solution
The option is more time consuming. It is necessary to lower the spores of the mushrooms into the liquid, and then pour the area with the prepared solution. Again, pay attention to where the trees are growing.
You can get spores from both fresh and dry mushrooms. They need to be dissolved in a yeast solution.
The cooking recipe is as follows:
- 1. Take 500 milliliters of water and 100 grams of yeast. Combine the ingredients and turn on the fire. Boil the solution for about 10 minutes.
- 2. Then add a large spoonful of sugar to the liquid.
- 3. Add mushroom spores to the solution.
- 4. Insist on all this for at least a day, and preferably two. Stir the solution occasionally.
- 5. Dilute the prepared liquid in 10 liters of water.
Done! Water the area with a solution and wait for the mushrooms to begin to hatch. Keep in mind that mushrooms grow worse in dense soil. You can pre-pierce it with a pitchfork or other suitable tools.
If you picked a young mushroom, then leave it to ripen for several days in a cool place. It is possible that insects will decide to feast on them. Do not forget to check the safety of the mushroom. The main thing is that the larvae do not damage the spore layer. Otherwise, you will not see a large harvest.
You can prepare a solution from various types of mushrooms. True, I do not advise mixing porcini mushrooms and boletus mushrooms.
The solution option usually gives better results, although it will take more time.
