Before starting work, make sure that the walls are not damaged by mold, fungus or insects. Also remember that only dry surfaces can be insulated.
If you put the insulation on damp walls, bacteria and bugs will soon start in it. Life in such a house will quickly become unbearable, and the walls will gradually begin to collapse.
When I insulated the house, I first changed all the logs and boards affected by bugs and fungus. Then he walked several times along the walls with an antiseptic, waited for the tree to dry.
One more point, it is preferable to carry out all insulation work when it is dry and warm outside.
When using mineral wool, do not wet the material, otherwise it will lose its useful properties. After fixing the insulation on the walls, hide it under the windproof film, and then you can proceed to the cladding.
