2.Vinyl has a high degree of fire hazard
I think this is a very strong argument against vinyl paneling. When exposed to fire, the material smokes a lot and emits a suffocating poisonous odor into the atmosphere. Therefore, it is not advisable to sheathe places with siding where the risk of ignition is high.
3.Noise level in the house
High-quality vinyl siding is able to dampen extraneous sounds coming from the street. The same cannot be said about iron siding. When sheathing a house with such material, it is highly desirable to make an insulating layer. Be aware that when siding is heated in the sun, it will crackle, which can be annoying.
4.Aesthetic look
When viewed from a long distance, the siding house looks modern and stylish. But if you look closely at the facade, all the flaws, connectors, slopes and other elements found in the cladding are striking.
In addition, vinyl siding does not have a wide range of colors. If you want saturated colors, then you should pay attention to acrylic strips, which are based on PVC. Their palette is more varied.
