Today there will be no crafts, today there will be green peas, which I love to eat and cook various salads from it. I often bought peas from one particular brand, which I always liked. But, recently, the quality has deteriorated greatly, and I decided to look at other manufacturers.
Friends, this article is not an advertisement, but my personal, subjective opinion, which I want to share with you.
On the shelf with peas, I noticed a strong difference in price, one costs 43 rubles, and the other 87. It's 2 times more expensive! So what is their difference? Took both banks to check the difference.
The manufacturer does not interest me, but only the price-quality ratio.
In the first bank, which costs 43 rubles, there are very large peas, almost 2 times larger than the expensive one. The color is very pale, unpleasant. Many peas cracked and began to fall apart. There is more brine in it, in my opinion.
The mass of peas without liquid is 250 gr., As it is written on the bank, in fact 240 gr. Made in China.
In the second bank, which costs 87 rubles, the peas are small, neat and almost all whole. The color is bright green, pleasing to the eye.
The mass of peas without liquid is 273 gr., and in fact even more, 281 gr. Peas produced in Ukraine.
There are really different amounts of brine, there is more of it in a cheap product. I love green pea pickle, but, you know, drinking pickle from a cheap can is just not possible, an abomination! But from the second jar, the brine is simply magnificent!
Now about the taste.
The cheap product obviously loses. Peas are soft and fall apart in the mouth. The taste is very weak and incomprehensible. Very hard peas come across, which spoil everything even more.
I would not make a salad from such peas, because when mixed, it will turn into porridge.
The second product is expensive and clearly wins. Peas pleasantly "burst" in the mouth and give a soft and bright taste. All peas are almost the same hardness with a strong skin, which is great for making salads. It won't fall apart when mixed.
In general, I concluded for myself that I definitely liked the product, which is more expensive and of high quality, I will take it. But, the choice is always yours, what products you can afford and like, I do not pretend to be.
