"Prefer dry steam"

The steam room has its own rules, the knowledge of which will make visiting it more useful and enjoyable. They concentrate the experience that bath attendants have gathered over many years of practice.

1. Do not go to the bathhouse after eating or on an empty stomach. In a pair, the load on the body increases - in such conditions, the digestive tract is more difficult to cope with the digestion of food. It is advisable to have a snack 2-3 hours before bathing procedures.

2. Eliminate salty foods from the "menu" before going to the steam room. Salt will not harm your health, but it will slow down the process of perspiration and close pores, which will nullify the benefits. This prohibition does not apply to bitter dishes - the couple loves them.

3. Give preference to warm and hot drinks before the sauna. They are more easily absorbed by the body and prepare for a visit to the steam room. In addition, pre-warming the body helps to lose weight as quickly as possible.

4. If you want to sweat in the steam room, then lie down.

This condition accelerates the disposal of the body from accumulated toxins. For even warming, it is recommended to change your position every 2-3 minutes.

5. Control the time spent in the steam room. A single call lasts from 10 to 15 minutes. Then it is repeated after half an hour spent in cooler conditions. Fever is a load on the body, so it should be dosed.

6. Prefer dry steam. The rate of evaporation of sweat from the skin surface depends on the degree of dryness of the steam. If sweating occurs in humid conditions, it becomes useless because the sweat does not dry out.

7. Use moderation in your steam room. The frequency of going to the bathhouse depends on the state of health. For beginners, the "norm" is 2-3 times a week to allow the body to get used to the heat. Over time, the number of visits increases.

8. Do not forget to restore body fluids after steam room. In conditions of high temperature and dryness, a person loses a lot of moisture. You can restore fluid balance with tea, juice, kvass or water.

9. If you go to the bathhouse to lose excess weight, do not resort to contrast procedures. After a steam room, sweating increases, which increases the effect of the visit. If the body cools down without the help of ice water, it loses calories faster.

10. After the steam room, you can safely arrange a plentiful feast without fear of gaining excess weight. Since the bath removes calories from the body, they can be replenished with any (preferably healthy) food. In addition, after a fever, calories are absorbed more slowly than usual.

11. When leaving the steam room, wrap yourself in warm cloth to keep your body warm longer. Gradual cooling not only reduces the risk of catching a cold, but also prolongs sweating.

12. Do not use the bath as a medicine when the temperature rises. The steam room can prevent the development of a cold in the early stages, but no more. When the body temperature is above normal, steam only aggravates the course of the disease.
