The main stages of construction

The formation of a tape shallow foundation for a bath consists of three stages. First, the reinforcing frame is assembled inside the formwork. The resulting structure is fixed with soft wire. Then concrete is poured (preferably in one go). For a bath, you need a brand of at least M 300. The final stage will be the laying of the waterproofing layer.

The laying of gas blocks begins from the upper corners of the construction site. When forming walls, you need to control both the vertical and horizontal plane. The blocks are located with tongue-and-groove piles outward - in the future this will simplify finishing work. They are fastened to each other with sand-cement mortar.

You can start laying the second and subsequent rows one hour after laying the first row. To fix them, you need a special connecting glue. To strengthen the walls, every fourth row is reinforced with a reinforced mesh.

Simultaneously with the laying of rows of aerated concrete, partitions are being erected. To form partitions during the construction of load-bearing walls, rafters are harvested into the walls (through a row).

To create lintels over windows and doors, you will need U-shaped gas blocks. A support in the shape of the letter T is fixed under the gas blocks, which is made of bars and boards. The elements are fastened to each other and to the opening space with 10-12 cm self-tapping screws.

When the walls are up, work begins on the roof. The last row of walls is laid with reinforced material. A rafter beam is laid on top of it. Wire strands are formed on the bar, which are fixed with brackets.

First, the truss structures are installed, then the frame is fixed with twists. Any roof is suitable for an aerated concrete bath - gable, single-pitched or mixed.

Calculating the cost

The total cost of an aerated concrete bath is determined by its area. A standard bath 3 * 4 meters will cost 36,000 rubles (subject to independent work). The price consists of the following costs:

  • laying of the foundation: includes a sand-crushed stone cushion, a reinforced concrete slab, a waterproofing layer, a two-tier reinforcing cage using D12 reinforcement and M300 factory concrete.
  • installation of external walls: consists of a waterproofing layer, aerated concrete of 200 millimeters, laying of reinforcement d 8 in each 3rd row + reinforcement under the windows;
  • installation of internal walls: consists of a waterproofing layer, aerated concrete of 150 millimeters, laying of reinforcement d 8 in every 3rd row;
  • installation of internal partitions: consists of a waterproofing layer, aerated concrete and reinforcement of 3 rows;
  • reinforced concrete armpoyas is made of concrete M300 with steel reinforcement d6 and d12 and insulated with expanded polystyrene (EPP) 5 centimeters thick;
  • installation of door and window lintels made of reinforced concrete (reinforcement with steel reinforcement + EPP insulation);
  • laying the attic floor: made of wooden load-bearing beams (150 * 50), membrane for waterproofing, top flooring from a board of 2.5 centimeters;
  • roofing: includes cut-off waterproofing, rafter system of boards 50 * 150, Mauerlat 150 * 150, counter-lattice with bars 25 * 50, lathing of boards 25 * 100, metal tiles, processing of all lumber antiseptic.
  • installation of a ceramic chimney and ventilation ducts from concrete ventilation blocks.
