Boilers or heat exchangers are of two types - flat or tubular. Flat boilers are easy to install and maintain. They have an impressive volume, which makes it possible to take hot water for washing from the heating system.

Tubular boilers can be installed on one or several sides of the furnace. They are easy to maintain and can be removed without disassembling the brickwork.

How to insert a radiator into the oven

Installation of a radiator in the oven is possible if you have:

  • brick ovens;
  • boiler;
  • concrete foundation;
  • chimney.

If all the necessary components are collected, the procedure is as follows:

1. Make a flat or solid cauldron (optional). Move bricks, ashpit and firebox doors, slide valve and heater parts to the room. Make a mortar for laying out - from clay with sand and cement.

2. Check the evenness of the foundation and correct it if necessary. Horizontal spread <1 cm is allowed.

3. Lay out the base of the furnace with bricks and double-check the calculations made. Do not use the solution for the first installation.

4. Put the first row on the solution in a solid one. For the second row, it is necessary to take into account the location of the blower and its dimensions.

5. Lay 3 rows of bricks (this amount is sufficient for the height of the ash pan). It is recommended to lay the last row under the grate with refractory bricks.

Heat exchanger installation

The firebox of the stove performs two important tasks: it fits the boiler and allows you to put wood. Boiler installation consists of the following steps:

1. Place the tank on the top brick row. Adjust its placement so as not to trim the bricks. The length of the pipes is normal 6-8 centimeters exceeds the thickness of the firebox;

2. Proceed with bricking the boiler. The cover depends on the type of boiler. With a flat boiler, ordinary ceramic bricks will do. With a tubular, heat-resistant material is required throughout the entire firebox.

3. After laying two rows, start preparing the hole for the firebox door (in accordance with the dimensions in the drawing). The front wall of the firebox is made of heat-resistant bricks.

4. Make channels for cleaning and close them with doors (if the oven is small, the step can be skipped).

5. Lay the remaining rows of bricks along the height of the boiler, checking their location using a level. If the binding is done correctly, the seams between the rows will be the same.

6. At the level of the firebox door, a metal board is placed - later it is closed with bricks in the upper part.

7. Prepare for the installation of the heater. The heater should be positioned on a sturdy 5 mm steel plate. The dimensions of the sheet correspond to the area of the furnace with a built-in boiler.

8. Put in the chimney. The location of the chimney must be determined before laying the stove. The area of the inner passage must be large enough to provide stable traction.

To complete the stove, you will need to make a fence of metal wire 25 centimeters high. The wire runs along the perimeter of the steel sheet. The amount of stones determines how long the high temperature is maintained in the steam room.
