The apple-tree mother herself regulates forces: foliage cannot feed "extra mouths", she throws all her efforts on food, the formation of even, large children. The rest, of irregular shape (depressed, angular), she takes off.

- it is recommended for young people to dig a cup around, pour several dozen buckets of liquid there;
- for adults - dig up ditches: the farther from the center, the deeper (up to 20 cm deep);
None of this suits me: my garden is under turf. I read about sprinkling. This is a way for the lazy. I put on a special tool and admire it. The main thing is not to pour on the barrel and do it in the evening.
Top dressing
Lack of it also affects. I read about compost, mullein, ammonium nitrate. Better to bring in the right places (the principle is the same as for watering) diluted with water. But if you are reluctant, then you can scatter dry fertilizers, with an indispensable spill after.

One individual manages to spoil 2-3 fruits in a lifetime. And this outrage lasts from May to August. Then caterpillars crawl onto trunks, pupate and wait out frosts.
