I am pleased to present the fact that many have long been waiting for: a full-featured application Lamptest with fast barcode scanner.
Five years ago, faced with the first low-quality LED lamps, I began to test the lights to understand what lights you can buy, and what better not. During this time, I tested more than 2,500 lamps and fixtures. Test results are published on the lamptest.ru. The site has a mobile version, but many asked for a mobile application with a barcode scanner, so you can right in the store to scan the bar code from the packaging lamps and see information about it, if it was tested.
Lamptest first application for Android was created a few years ago (and now it is in the store). Its main drawback was that the lamp base is stored in the application itself and for its renovation needed each time to produce a new version. In addition, there was no application filter.
The new application created Anton Melnikov. It uses a fast barcode scanner, database is automatically updated to the site every time you run the application. Anton I helped with ideas, catching errors and texts, so the number of co-authors.
When you start the application displays a list of tested lamps. The very first shown last tested the lamp, and then in the reverse order to the very first. The list can be filtered out (more on this below), and by pressing the round yellow button activates the barcode scanner. Once in the field of the scanner will be a barcode, it will happen to read. If the lamp with a bar code is in the database, will open its page. If not - will see a message recommending similar lamps of the same brand.
For every lamp displayed a set of parameters as declared by the manufacturer, as well as resulting from my tests.
The left bottom button in the list view opens a filter panel, with which you can set multiple parameters. To close the Filter panel, you can brush away her finger down, press the "back" button on your phone, or click the X in the upper-left corner of the panel.
The second bottom panel button check database updates (they are also checked when the application starts). The third button (with a magnifying glass) opens search (as it can be accessed by clicking in the upper panel). The fourth button opens a prompt window and information about the application.
Simultaneously released two versions of the application: free Lamptest.ru and pay Lamptest.ru Pro.
The top line of the free version displays advertising in the Pro version has no ads. In addition, the following options are additionally displayed in the Pro version in the card lamp:

And at these filters is not only a key but also the scale, allowing more accurate set filter range:

Free version is fully functional it is, and the paid version is aimed at those who do not want see ads, those who want to have "everything to the maximum", and those who want to support the project by purchasing attachment.
Anton and I tried to find and fix all the mistakes, but surely something is still left. Please do not be lazy to report bugs. In addition, suggestions are accepted - we have big plans for the development of applications.
upd.: Two days PRO-version of the app hit the 1 place in the top paid apps, and a free version on the 3rd place in the top popular. The number of installations has exceeded one thousand.
P.S. Lamptest iPhone application no. A couple of years ago there was an attempt to create it, but "something went wrong". If there is a wish to create one, please.
