Once a month, a general cleaning takes place in our apartment. This time the wife also decided to disassemble the pantry. Honestly, I found so many useful things for myself, tools, nails, bolts of all kinds. I even found a drill. And on the topmost shelf was a frying pan, gathering dust. I got it out.

In short, everything that we found in the pantry has long been forgotten that we have it. And the wife, seeing the frying pan, was delighted. She remembered that she was still her grandmother, in her childhood she used to bake pancakes in this frying pan. Her nostalgia played out a little. Then she tearfully asked me to put this frying pan in order, to wash it.

Well, I think there is nothing to do, because memory is good. Moreover, such warm memories of the pancakes that my grandmother baked.

There are a lot of ways to clean such pans, but I decided to do with minimal fright, that is, I wanted to say with one ingredient. And this ingredient was silicate stationery glue. It costs quite inexpensively. You can buy it both in stationery stores and in hardware stores. If you need a volume of three liters or more, then such volumes are sold on the construction market. The advantage of this glue is also that it does not contain substances harmful to human health.

Therefore, I will clean the pan using this particular glue.

I took an 8-liter pot, poured about 5-6 liters of water into it, and heated it on the stove. Then he poured 5 bubbles of clerical silicate glue into it (its other name is liquid glass), this is about 300 milliliters. Pouring the glue into the pan, mix everything thoroughly so that the glue completely dissolves in the water.

Next, you need to wait until the water with the glue diluted in it boils.

As the water boiled, I put a frying pan into the pot. I boiled it for an hour. Then the pan must be removed from the solution. Be careful, it is hot, so I advise you to put an oven mitt on your hand.

Holding a frying pan with one hand, take a knife in the other, and begin to peel off the carbon deposits. In the process of boiling in silicate glue, carbon deposits softened, and quite easily began to move away from the pan with a knife.

After cleaning with a knife, rinse the pan with tap water and wipe it dry with a towel.

Then its non-stick coating should be restored, otherwise all the food that will be cooked on it will burn.

For this we use sunflower oil. After rubbing a frying pan with it, place it in the oven, preheated to 250 degrees, and ignite it for 15 minutes. We take out and cool under running cold water. This procedure must be repeated at least 3 times. Then, boil the frying pan in plain water for 10-15 minutes.

If you have the patience for this, then the pan will fully fulfill its functionality, without any sticking.
