Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of the "Build for Myself" channel!
Last summer my family and I rested in the north of the Rostov region in the village of Vyoshenskaya. And in the process of walking, we wandered into the territory of the stables, at which a private hotel was built, and it was there that I noticed a very economical and beautiful version of the gazebo.
On the territory of the hotel there were three of them, they were located in one row (pictured above). They echo very well with a green lawn.
There is nothing intricate in the design of the gazebo, everything is made from improvised materials of natural origin, taken from the forest in the neighborhood: logs, boards, branches and dry reeds. Looks very great and the most important thing is sitting inside - very cozy and you don't want to leave !!!
The frame, together with the supporting structure of the roof, consists of logs (for yourself, of course, you can make cuts and notches wood in the form of locks), as a crate - both an inch, and boards from under pallets, everything that came to hand masters :)))
Sheaves of dry reeds are pulled to the crate with stainless wire, this is rather the most difficult element. Although, on the other hand, for a gazebo, the density of pulling the sheaf may not be great, since this is not a residential building and a roof leak will not do any harm.
In the center of each gazebo there is a homemade table, as a support - again, a log embedded in the ground. For yourself, you can not do this, but set up a regular table.
Along the perimeter of the gazebo there is a homemade bench, the supports of which are oblique elements resting on the frame posts of the main structure.
And the last element is a wicker fence. It is also an element of painstaking work, which is quite possible to do yourself... The fence is made in separate sections - the hotel staff explained that the owner himself wove it. There are options when a thin board, about 5 mm thick, is used instead of flexible branches. Also, such products are sold ready-made.
All elements are assembled on nails and self-drilling hidden self-tapping screws that do not crack in the wood and when immersed in the material, their cap is hidden.
In fact, such a gazebo is very simple, and at the same time - a beautiful product that will decorate the territory of your site. The manufacture of the structure does not require any special equipment, except for a chainsaw / circular saw, a screwdriver and a hammer!
