Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of the "Build for Myself" channel!

This method of marking was shown to me by my father-in-law, with whom we hung together a wall-mounted boiler, a sink, and a voltage stabilizer. It is impossible to make markings for attaching heavy things to a canopy, firstly, they are voluminous and it is not always convenient to hold them, and secondly, you also need to set a level on the horizon.

Not knowing about this trick, I carefully measured all the holes with a tape measure, then transferred them to the wall. And if there were 4 or more of them, it is even more difficult. You need to create a perfect rectangle, measure the diagonals so that some of the holes do not part. After all, if the fasteners ideally fit into the mounting hole of the equipment without any backlash, then even having drilled a hole in the wall with an error of 3-5 mm. - count it triggered on the basket, and you need to re-drill the 5th "hole".

I explain the method using the example of hanging the stabilizer. Equipmentsmall but heavy. I attached it to the ceiling to hide it behind a decorative panel.

So, we take any sheet of paper or newspaper and place it with masking tape on the plane where the equipment mounting holes are located.

I used two A4 sheets glued together.

If the device is not bulky, you can put it down for convenience (as in my case):

Now it remains to make the markup on paper and show the mounting holes.

After the holes are drawn, we hang the resulting template on the wall.

We level it and transfer the holes to the wall, piercing the paper with a pencil.

With complete confidence in the correct markings, you can start drilling or drilling.

This can be done with any heavy wall equipment or object.
