Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of the "Build for Myself" channel!

Returning home from vacation, on the way to g. Rostov-on-Don, passing g. Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, I saw such a miracle of engineering:

As if transported to the movie "Mad Max" with Tom Hardy.

The car is made from the body of "Victory" (GAZ M20) of the 50s with all kinds of hard tuning. Looks - you can't take your eyes off!

Several photos from different angles:

But, looking around, I realized that this car only attracted attention. And, on a nearby building there was an inscription "Legends of the USSR":

It was the first time I learned about this museum, and when I went inside, I was stunned by the rich atmosphere, and importantly, by the number of surviving Soviet-era cars, dating back to the post-war years.

Immediately I remembered what cars my grandfathers and great-grandfathers had. First, my eyes fell on the Moskvich, which was owned by my grandfather in the 80s. Nostalgia just went off scale, shots from a young life began to surface before my eyes.

Further, the famous "penny" is a car that was made by AvtoVAZ in the amount of just over 4.5 million. pieces

The USSR police on the basis of the VAZ 2101:

There are 2 floors and about 30 cars, which were restored by the museum staff and now we have something to remember as a generation of the USSR and something to see for our children.

Zhuzhik of the 60s:

Zaporozhets "cheburashka" of the 70s:

Further, Moskvich 407, which was produced for export to Norway and France.

Moskvich, 408 - its first presentation took place in 1964. in England:

A few more photos of cars made in the USSR:

Eh! I did not sit in any of the cars, as it was prohibited by the museum administration. But, I really wanted to twist the steering wheel :-)))

And it is very pleasant that there are people who have preserved the history of the Soviet era not only on paper. I was pleasantly surprised and mentally transported to the 80s, because I haven't seen the 70s yet.

I hope that you liked the photos and that there is something that you can proudly remember.

Thanks for attention!
