If you have a home, then rather, you already know that life outside the city is a huge responsibility to family, and, very often situations occur that result in high costs, significantly affecting pocket. But, in return, the tenants of the cottage get clean air, their own crops, hassle-free parking and, most importantly, freedom and a normal personal (private) life.

This is not the apartment where I came, sat down on the sofa, took the remote control and let’s flip through the channels. There is a need to be hardworking in the house, so suburban life is not for lazy people or for lazy people, but wealthy :-)))

I remembered an old saying that exactly conveys the life of suburban life: "The house is not large, but it does not order to lie."

One comrade threw me a phrase: here, he says, you live in a house, it is good for you that you want - you do! You came home from work, went out into the yard, nature, you relax, you don't need anything. Here is a beauty!!! I, too, they say, am going to sell the apartment and buy myself a house!

The fact is that a private house and the adjoining territory are immeasurably more pulling forces out of the owner than an apartment. Therefore, I always recommend people who are eager to buy a house, once again weigh the pros and cons of such a decision.

You can't give up everything, turn around and fly away for a couple of weeks on vacation, you must definitely devote a few days to the local area. And then, either you undertake it yourself, or you hire a master. No one will lift a finger for you, there is no management company or housing cooperative here.

What surprises does a private house hold?

Having moved from an apartment to the countryside, a person begins to understand that a house is a living organism that requires constant care: the blind area is crumbling, the storm drain is clogged, the fence post has moved, the paving slabs have sagged, the septic tank has overflowed, the gate sagged, the grass knee, it got cold and the mice ran into the house, the boiler at -20 stopped heating, and shovels in winter, like a lawn mower in summer, are the subject of the first necessary! In other words - this is life in anticipation of surprises almost 24 by 7 and as a second job :-)))

For some, these are pleasant chores, while others cannot stand it and move back to the apartment.

There is no such thing that in the evening you come and lie down, "day after day" new problems arise and you need to look for ways of solving. If the owner cannot do this himself and constantly hires people, then this is a money vacuum cleaner that sucks 3-5 thousand monthly. In addition, there is a permanent entrance yard for guest workers in the yard :-)))

From unstable, but still occurring situations - breakdowns in heating and water supply systems. It happens that pumps and electronic boards of various equipment burn out. Once every 3-4 years, a significant amount is laid out in an instant for repairs (from 20 to 40 thousand rubles).

It is very difficult to talk about the exact costs, since the house is at home. Each adjoining territory dictates its own requirements for its care, but definitely, in your house you always need some garden tools, tools and various consumables, which on average spend 15-20 thousand rubles a year:

  • water filters;
  • lawn mower / diesel generator fuel;
  • garbage bags;
  • fertilizers, spraying chemicals;
  • firewood for home heating, etc.
Everything cannot be done well and something needs to be constantly completed. It is a cycle of work, both new and repetitive. And, if you do not know how to do most of the things with your own hands, then this vacuum cleaner sucks 80-120 thousand rubles a year, and these are just current issues without additional "want"!

In addition to finishing touches and repairs, so as not to ruin the yard, you need to cut trees, spray, dig up a vegetable garden, transfer sand / gravel / soil from place to place, pull weeds and much, much more. And how much money do you think it will take if the owner does not put a finger on his finger?

"Where do trees have so many leaves?" a former tenant may ask. Yes, there will be no usual garbage in the house, but garbage will accumulate many times more! And again you need to do something with him.

Any knock or creak in the yard at night makes the owner wake up abruptly, get out of bed, get dressed and go out into the yard! This is the situation in a private house :-))) This is a more secluded life, no one will help or give life advice right away, therefore country house man - always adapted and ready for more severe living conditions.
