Why fill a monolithic floor if it will only be harder for grandchildren to demolish this house?

Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of my channel!

We moved out of town 4 years ago, bought a small brick house from 1972 with a kitchen and 3 rooms, with a total area of 76 sq.m. and in my plans I had the task of complete reconstruction of this house, because I did not want to get involved in construction new.

I am not a professional builder, but I understand very well the structure and purpose of the main units of the house, since this topic is close to me, moreover, I can operate with numbers and draw up an estimate, the total amount of which just gave me a good kick in the decision to demolish the old houses.

The house is 48 years old, all communications - to hell, wiring - to be replaced, on the walls knock down the old plaster and apply on a new one, raise the ceilings! Cracks have already begun on the basement and under the windows, and this is the first bell to start pulling the house together. The height of the ceilings no longer meets the requirements of my family, one bathroom / unit is not enough for 4 people, all rooms - walk-through ("tram"), floors for replacement and much, much more, and all this is needed fix!!! We are not here for a year or two, we have to live here on!

The estimate for the reconstruction, taking into account extensions, various additions and raising the ceilings, amounted to 1,720,000 rubles, the estimate for the construction of a new house - 2,340,000 rubles. So which is better? For me, friends, it is better to overpay a little more "half a lam" and live in a new house!

That's when I said "MUCH THANKS" to those who built this house, because I can take it apart alone and it doesn't take much effort. It is disassembled brick by brick, as it was built! All wooden beams are thrown off one or two and that's it. All that remains is to call a truck and take everything to the dump.

If there was a concrete ceiling, then this is a lot of wasted time and effort, the crane will not help here. Only hammering with a puncher and more than one week.

Now about our houses ...

I suggest, first, look at the abandoned unfinished buildings, which were built "for centuries", and the owners did not calculate the funds and did not pull the construction site due to the financial situation. Now, they stand for 5-10 years, and at the same time these two-storey cottages with a wall thickness of 2 bricks are being destroyed, and some even without a roof, but BUT WITH A MONOLITHIC OVERLAP. Here's one of these, right in front of my yard, has been on sale for 5 years:

And the owner calmly at that time could build a small house for the same money and already live a normal life.

Who needs these plots with such houses? The site costs 2-3 million, and to demolish the house at least another 1 million. - who will undertake this? A penny for such a site.

While this bunker is standing and not for sale, dealers and private developers are quickly snapping up other plots with more dilapidated houses that are leveled to the ground in one to two weeks.

Now the question is: Why build an air-raid shelter, if, anyway, in 50-70 years it will get old and will need to be demolished? This "architectural monument" will not be needed by anyone, n-o-o-o-o! Why? Because he will not satisfy the requirements that our grandchildren will make to him, in exactly the same way as we make requirements to the homes of our old people.

Let's look back 60-70 years. No, I would not want to live in those houses. Definitely, a lot of effort and money is spent on repairs. You start doing one thing, and it pulls the second, the third and the chain is endless... And the requirements for our house are completely different.

As I wrote in one of the articles, one day the grandson will turn to his grandfather and say: "Grandpa, why do I need your house, it doesn't even have voice control. Why do I need this old stuff? "

Most of your life to hunchback and invest in something that will quickly lose its value within one generation? And why are mansions of 300 square meters, if absolutely, they are intended only to eat, sleep and shelter from bad weather?

Perhaps the article will cause criticism in my address, but I do not impose my point of view at all and the above is my personal attitude to such houses ...

Thanks for reading, I think it was interesting!
