My devices connected to the Internet via a modem with a free Danycom SIM card stopped responding. It turned out that the initially zero balance of the SIM card suddenly became negative.

Completely free mobile communication from the virtual operator Danycom (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1043438.html) has been working for almost a year. By tariff "Free"give 1 GB of internet, 30 minutes and 50 SMS per month. It is really completely free, but it can receive up to 5 advertising SMS per day (sometimes several of them come to me and to a completely paid MTS). Only one free SIM card is given for one passport. Simka is sent free of charge by Russian Post to any region.

Danycom operates on Tele2 network (in Moscow it is 3G and 4G, there is no GSM 2G network).

Simka with the "free" tariff turned out to be ideal for use in video surveillance systems, telemonitoring, and device control. I use two such SIM cards for two video surveillance systems (a gigabyte is enough with a large margin).

Upon receipt of the first sim card, it was necessary to pay 19 rubles, which went to the balance. So they have been there since last May and everything works fine.

Then the conditions were changed and when you received the second SIM card, you did not have to pay anything, but the balance was zero. Everything worked for six months, and then it stopped. For some reason, the balance on the balance sheet became minus 2.85 rubles. It is unknown why this happened. I even made detailing for three months (they no longer give) and it shows the consumption of 9 kopecks at 3 am on January 1.

Apparently, it was some kind of mistake, but for the sake of three rubles I didn’t figure it out, but simply put 10 rubles into my account. Everything worked immediately.

For my purposes, a gigabyte is more than enough, but now it is possible to increase the amount of free traffic to 1.65 GB. To do this, in your personal account, you can exchange minutes and SMS for megabytes. For 30 minutes they give 600 MB, for 50 SMS another 50 MB. The only inconvenience is that you have to do this every month.

If you need a lot of SMS (for example, for GSM sockets and simple GSM alarms), you can, on the contrary, change the traffic to SMS.

I don't know how long this freebie will last, but for now it works for various devices as well (it is only important that the devices support 3G or 4G). Danycom is also good for communication between two phones, because calls and SMS from Danycom to Danycom are unlimited, free and do not consume minutes and SMS from the package.
