Very often I personally encountered such a problem that a hacksaw cuts well, as crooked as possible, then it will go to the left, then to the right. Patience will not be enough. The main thing is that I could not find a solution to this problem and had to suffer with it constantly.
One evening I was at the dacha and it was necessary to carefully cut off a part of the board along the measured line, it was thin and the hacksaw was not large for wood, but with a cloth for metal. I tried to saw off, it means exactly, and this is what happened:
