The Troika keychain lasted for two and a half years

Since the end of 2017, I have been using a key fob to pay for public transport. From the very beginning, there was a question, how durable the keychain is and how long it will live on the bunch of keys, which is in your pocket every day. Enough for two and a half years.

Map Troika used to pay for travel in Moscow transport. The troika costs 50 rubles and can be returned by getting its value back. The Troika keychain costs 350 rubles, it cannot be returned and at first glance there is no point in it, but when you start using it, three global advantages are revealed.

1. While I was using the card, several times I forgot it when leaving the house. Once I had to buy another one, write down the trips there and spend them, and then return to the main map. The keychain hangs on the keys and it is almost impossible to forget it when leaving the house.

2. The Troika was never linked to the personal account and the owner (although they had promised for a long time), and I was always afraid of losing the card. You can only lose the keychain together with the keys.

3. When you have several bank cards in your pocket, your license and Troika are hard to find by touch, when you enter the subway and I have repeatedly tried to pay for the fare with a driver's license. :) When the Troika is in the form of a keychain, there is no such problem - it is enough to feel for the keys in your pocket.

The keychain turned out to be quite strong, but still broke - first, the top layer of plastic peeled off near the hole, and then the inner plastic cracked. I glued the keychain with superglue Akfix 705, let's see how long it lasts.
