For nine months now I have a homemade air quality monitoring stationassembled according to a German project sensor.community.
From now on, data from such stations can be displayed by the Russian service People's Monitoring.

German air quality sensors on the People's Monitoring

Thanks to the article about Cloud Thermometer in 10 minutes and 300 rubles (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1192892.html), I met the creator of the People's Monitoring service.

This service displays data on a map from a huge number of sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, dust, radiation and other parameters) installed across the country by thousands of enthusiasts. In addition, he is able to display data in a mobile application and through a telegram bot, notify about parameters exceeding the specified limits. Sensors can be public, the data from which is visible to all site visitors narodmon.ru, and private, data from which are visible only to their owner.

With the help of Sergey Andreev, who wrote the site engine Lamptest.ru, we figured out how the German firmware can send data to the specified server. And the creator of the People's Monitoring made support for this data in his project.

In order to add an air quality monitoring station to the People's Monitoring, you need to do the following:

1. We go to the station web interface, click "Configuration" - "Additional settings". Set the "Measurement interval" 300 (by default there is 145).

2. Click on the "APIs" on top, check the "Send to InfluxDB" checkbox. We indicate the server "narodmon.ru", the path "/post.php", port "80". We do not change everything else. We write down the ID at the top of the page. Click "Save and Reload".

3. If you have not registered yet, register on the People's Monitoring, go to "Profile - My sensors".

Click "Add" and enter "esp8266-" and our ID, in this case "esp8266-3323232" (do not try to enter this ID, it is here for an example and it does not exist).

The data from the station will be immediately displayed in the sensors section.

A huge plus of the fact that the station can now be added to the National Monitoring is that you can set up notifications when the dust concentration level is exceeded and the service with using E-mail, SMS, push to the application, Telegram and Viber (optional) will notify that air pollution is bad today and it is better to spend less time on street.

Just in case, let me remind you what you need in order to assemble your own air quality monitoring station:

1. Dust sensor Nova PM SDS011 for $ 17.71;

2. Microcomputer NodeMcu V3 (choose CH340) for $ 2.03;

3. Temperature, humidity, pressure sensor BME280 for $ 2.07;

The first three positions are from one seller, you need to select Aliexpress Standard Shipping and you can order fast delivery to Pyaterochka stores (pickup).

4. Tube (choose 6x8 mm) for $ 1.17;

5. Distribution box (in any store of electrical goods or household goods) - 50 rubles;

6. USB charging with a current of at least 500 mA.

Additionally, you may need:

6. Connecting wires Dupont (choose F-F) for $ 0.58;

7. Flat USB-MicoUSB cable (choose the desired length 2 or 3 m) for $ 1.85-2.32.

Detailed instructions for connecting, flashing, registering in the system are here.

Thanks to the administration of People's Monitoring and Sergey Andreev for sending data from the station to narodmon.ru in just one day.
