Starting today, cash can be withdrawn for any purchase at the cash desks of any Vkusville store. I went and checked.

This morning began with a push notification from the Vkusville store chain app.

I have heard about the beginning of the introduction of this technology for a long time, but at first cash withdrawal did not work in all stores, and today it was announced that now you can withdraw cash throughout the network. For one operation, you can withdraw from 100 to 5,000 rubles, up to 20,000 rubles a day. There is no commission for this operation, but it is important that you can withdraw cash from the card without commission (you should not withdraw cash from credit cards this way).

For the sake of experiment, I took a pack of cottage cheese and asked to withdraw 100 rubles at the checkout.

Checkout shows cash disbursements as a separate item.

The terminal displays the inscription "Payment with delivery".

The terminal always asks for a pin-code (even for cards with disabled pin-code entry and when paying with a smartphone).

I tried to pay with Halva card using my smartphone, but something went wrong.

The terminal is blocked. In the same way, he was blocked when he tried to use the physical Rocketbank card, and Tinkoff refused to accept the Mir card from the Tinkoff bank, writing that it was not suitable for this operation. Only the fourth card worked - Tinkoff Black via Google Pay and I received my cottage cheese, 100 rubles and two checks - for the purchase and for cash withdrawal.

On Forum Banki.ru write that the bank also separates this operation into purchase and withdrawal of cash and assigns two MCC codes to it. But my Internet bank still displays a regular purchase in a supermarket for a total of 158 rubles.

Perhaps the separation will occur after the operation is performed.

They say that checkouts should be introduced in other store chains, in particular in Pyaterochka.

At first glance, it may seem that cash dispensing at the checkout of stores is not very necessary, but in many places, especially in rural areas, it can be very much in demand. For example, in the summer at my dacha, I got into a situation when I had to pay the workers, there was no cash, and the only Sberbank ATM located nearby did not work stupidly. If the money could be withdrawn at the checkout in Pyaterochka, the problem would have been solved much easier than I had to solve it then.
