Many LED lamps have appeared in stores, which are controlled from the remote control and can change the brightness and color temperature of the light. I had the opportunity to test five of these luminaires from three manufacturers.

Let's start with Leek LE 061 202-013 CLL Celebrity for 5,000 rubles.

The manufacturer indicates the following parameters:

• power 120 W;
• luminous flux 5400-8500 lm;
• color temperature 3000-6500K;
• color rendering index, Ra ⩾80.

The set includes a remote control with 13 buttons.

Separate buttons include three color modes, "night light" minimum white light mode, 50% white light mode. There is a timer shutdown button. The ring buttons decrease and increase the brightness and change the color temperature of the light. The center button does nothing.

When turned off from the network, the luminaire remembers the state and turns on in the same mode in which it was when turned off.

Modes can be selected not only with the remote control, but also with a conventional light switch. If you turn off and on the light, the lamp will change the color temperature (three modes in a circle).

The luminaire uses LEDs with a warm light of 2700K and a cold light of 6500K, but they never light up separately - in all modes, the light of two groups of LEDs is mixed.

In the "warmest" mode, the color temperature is 3456K, the lamp consumes 52.6 W and gives 2704 lumens.

In the brightest "neutral" mode, the color temperature is 4089K, the lamp consumes 103 watts and gives 5274 lumens. In the "50% brightness" and "night light" modes, the color temperature is the same.

In the "coldest" mode, the color temperature is 4813K, the lamp consumes 82.8 W and gives 2777 lumens.

At minimum brightness, the luminaire gives 332 lumens (12% of maximum). The brightness is too high to be used as a night light.

At maximum brightness, there is practically no light ripple (ripple coefficient 0.3%), at 50% brightness, the ripple is 16.3%, with a minimum brightness of 27.3%. Visually, such a ripple is invisible, but this is another reason why the lamp should not be used in nightlight mode.

The luminaire uses a bi-color LED strip without resistors as a light source. It is glued to the ends of the rings, but there is one problem: the tape bypasses the mounting posts and some LEDs hang in the air and do not cool in any way. It can be assumed that this will not in the best way affect the life of the lamp.

The luminaire is mounted on a metal crosspiece. It is fixed to the ceiling and the lamp is screwed to it with four screws.

The manufacturer promised a power of 120W, a luminous flux of 5400-8500 lumens and a color temperature of 3000-6500K. The measured power of the luminaire at 100% brightness is 53-103 W in different color modes, measured by the light the flux in the brightest white neutral light mode was 5274 lm, and in warm and cold light modes only 2704-2777 lm. The color temperature ranges from 3500-4800K.

Most likely, the main operating mode of this lamp will be the "warmest" mode, because since the designers have come up with a two-color solution, I want to use it. But in this mode, the color is not so warm (3500K), the light will be three times less than the promised maximum, and for a normal room of 15 m² this will not be enough.

It is important to remember that most light fixtures with variable color temperature burn as brightly as possible only in the mixing mode. colors when all LEDs work at maximum brightness, and in other modes, the brightness will be less, up to 50% of maximum.

The review of the next decorative ceiling lamp General 800325 GSMCL-Smart25 will be in a week, but now you can see the results of testing all five lamps on Lamptest: lamptest.ru/search/#&shape=Lamp&type2=mod. Results for all modes of each luminaire can be viewed by clicking on its model in the table.
