Metro officials said they were selling masks 10% below market value. I found out where they sell masks 33% cheaper than on the subway.

There are VkusVill vending machines on each platform of the MCC, which is part of the Moscow metro system, but they have nothing to do with the metro itself.

In these machines, masks cost 20 rubles a piece or 100 rubles for five pieces. The price of gloves is the same.

Today, this is the lowest price for masks in the official sale (they say that you can buy even cheaper on Avito and Yulia).

I bought a set of five masks for 100 rubles. I paid by card contactless.

On the label, the already familiar inscription "The mask is not a medical protective or surgical mask. Designed to protect against dust, pollen. " The reason for this inscription is perfectly revealed in the following phrase "Not subject to mandatory certification." Surely these are the same medical masks, but certification would take a long time, so it's easier to write that the mask is not medical.

The most common masks are made on an automatic line. The support is hard, the elastic bands are normal.

Interestingly, in the Vkusville stores themselves there are no masks at such prices - a dozen costs 320 rubles.

Surely soon the price of masks will fall even more, but today 20 rubles is already much more pleasant than 30 rubles in the subway and 40-50 in stores.

P.S. Very few people use disposable masks "by the rules", throwing them away after two hours. Many have only one mask and wear it for weeks until it physically deteriorates. Others have brought several masks and wear them in turns, disinfecting them after wearing in various ways. Still others bought a reusable mask.

Admit it, how many disposable masks have you bought since the beginning of the epidemic?
