This small device allows you to connect an unlimited number of IP cameras with one single cable from the DVR. It contains 3-port POE-switch and POE-Splitter powered by POE.
Remember, I resented the lack of small three-port switches (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1161430.html)? Thanks to my, the best in the world, readers found such a device.
Device costs $ 11.60, its label says DINKIA DS-POE1133E, but there is no name in the description of the lot.
One port of this thing connects a cable from the recorder or POE switch POE 48V to the second port a camera with POE 48V power supply or one more similar box is connected, the third port is connected to a camera with power supply 12V. This allows you to "hang" a "string" of cheap cameras without POE on one POE cable - there will be such a box next to each camera.
Through this device, I connected two cameras to one port of the POE recorder - white with POE power, black with 12V power. Everything works fine.
There are activity indicators on two ports.
"Inner world". The board says Greenmei v2.0.
The device supports POE 48-52V power supply. At the output, it provides 12V 1A power. This means that two 12-volt cameras can be connected to this box (they consume 230-460 mA with the backlight on) using a power tee. You can safely connect an ordinary camera to the POE 48V port, since its RJ45 connector simply does not have four wires through which the POE is powered.
Of course, it is very convenient to connect several cameras through such boxes, but you need to understand that if one box fails, they will not all other cameras after it also work, so it seems to me optimal to use such devices to connect two cameras one by one cable.
Perhaps there are similar devices without a 48-12V voltage converter with three POE ports, but I have not yet met such.
