In the parameters of the Go Smart tariff on the MTS website, neither the amount of Internet, nor the number of calls and SMS included in the tariff are indicated. There is no exact indication of the price of the tariff either. :)
However, this tariff can be very interesting and not only for smart devices.
In fact, this tariff has absolutely clear parameters, but MTS for some reason fools subscribers' heads. Most likely, the reason is that smart watches are equipped with a tariff with the same name, but with different parameters.
Go Smart gives 200 MB, 30 minutes and 100 SMS per month.
The "trick" is that all this can be used even in one day and pay only 3 rubles for it.
The tariff has three payment options:
1. If there are 790 rubles on the account, they will be debited as payment for the year (68.83 rubles per month);
2. If there is 90 rubles on the account, they will be debited as payment for the month;
3. If the account has less than 90 rubles, 3 rubles will be debited every day.
When buying in an MTS salon, the tariff costs 800 rubles, when activated, 790 rubles will be charged (payment per year).
You can take any other tariff, or use the existing MTS SIM card and switch to Go Smart for free through your personal account. In this case, the type of payment will depend on the amount of money in the account.
After the traffic packet is exhausted, the Internet does not turn off, but its speed drops to 64 Kb / s.
The tariff parameters indicate that the tariff threshold is 1 KB.
However, the detail says something else entirely. When the device is permanently connected to the network, 200 KB is charged every hour.
It turns out that with a constantly working device, the minimum monthly traffic is 144-149 MB. Another 50 MB is left to exceed this traffic.
For example, a 4G camera (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1188994.html), in which I now use this tariff, in the mode of watching video through the application consumes 1.4 MB per minute.
Accordingly, the total traffic of 200 MB is enough to enter the application every day and watch the situation for about a minute (this is even more than usually needed).
This tariff can be used both for devices (cameras, alarms, automation) and for other purposes (for example, if you sometimes need make several calls from a "secret" number, you can get a SIM card with these tariffs and put 3 rubles on it only when you need to make calls).
It is unpleasant that the real tariff threshold turned out to be 200 times higher than the one indicated in the tariff. I will devote a separate publication to this situation.
