Weekend fairs are held in all districts of Moscow. I don’t know how in other districts, but here in Sviblovo the fair is heroically built, and then no less heroically dismantled thirty times a year.
Every Thursday a team of workers builds a fair.
Every Monday the same team dismantles the fair.
There is no point in this assembly-disassembly. Of course, the territory of the fair is not used in any way on Tuesday and Wednesday, when the fair remains empty asphalt.
I’m even scared to imagine how much money is spent on this pointless assembly and disassembly every week. But budgets are spent, people are busy.
I would not be surprised if it turns out that assembly and disassembly is more expensive than the entire proceeds of the fair over the weekend.
