What can you expect to see inside the fan heater, which was sold for 300 rubles. I expected to see trash, you probably already imagined it too.
A year ago, I bought six unnamed two-kilowatt fan heaters for 300 rubles to use them as a load for testing extension cords and cables.
Today I took apart one and was really surprised. It turned out to be flawless inside, and I'm not kidding.
There are two (!) Defenses next to the spirals.
The first is a 92-degree thermal fuse, the second is a bimetallic contact that opens when overheated.
All connections are detachable, everything is done neatly, nothing dangles - all the wires are fastened with ties, the switch looks good.
The wires leading to the spirals are in a cloth sheath. The connections are sealed with caps.
The thermostat doesn't look like the cheapest.
There is simply nothing to complain about, well, except that the real power is 1700 W, and not 2000 W, but this is the case for all such devices.
I have only one question. How can this cost 300 rubles? There are some accessories and wires for 10 dollars at least.
I have only one version: a chain of stores on sale was selling it cheaper than the cost price, but even now you can find on sale two-kilowatt fan heaters for 500 rubles (I don't know just as well inside them or no).
