There is no limit to the resourcefulness of crooks! New attack: Vkontakte users receive a private message from a friend, which turns into account hijacking.
A message from a friend says something like "I'm entering a contest. Please vote for me. I would be very grateful "and the link.
When clicking on the voting link, you are prompted to enter your Vkontakte login and password (the page looks exactly like the Vkontakte interface).
If you enter your username and password, the account will be hijacked immediately and most likely soon they will start writing messages to all friends about the fact that "I am in trouble, please give me money in loans on this card."
The trick of the scammers is that, having hijacked one account, they do not immediately beg for money from it, but try to hijack many accounts with it in order to beg, so beg in large quantities.
It is possible that such fraud is practiced not only on Vkontakte, but also in other social networks.
Warn your family and friends about this fraud. Always check the address of the site where you enter passwords in the browser bar.
