Long apartment searches
I came across an unconventional way of using a sponge when I was renting an apartment. It took me a long time to find a suitable accommodation. One apartment was very far from the office, the second was located in a dysfunctional area, and the third was charged a very high price.
A good friend helped me to cope with the problem. Her neighbor was just about to rent out her apartment. She was planning to move to a country house and wanted to find decent tenants. I looked at the proposed option and was pleasantly surprised. The apartment was very well maintained and spacious. And no one was going to overstate the price for it.
A real mistress and craftswoman
When the landlady left, I noticed she had a lot of strange devices. The woman took only her personal belongings with her, and left the rest to me. My gaze immediately caught on the cut dish sponge.
The woman cut a small rectangular piece of it and hung it on the kitchen mixer. I would never have thought of such an interesting way.
Thus, the sponge dries quickly and is always in one place. It adheres well to the mixer and does not fall into the sink. I immediately took note of a convenient method.
But the cut sponge wasn't the only thing that struck me. When I was about to take out the trash, I found at its bottom paper towel roll. At first it was not clear to me why she was needed there. But then I still declassified a little trick.
One garbage bag is put on the bucket, and the second is placed inside the sleeve. It should come out through a thin incision. This makes it much easier to put on the garbage bags. After all, many even postpone this matter for later and immediately go to take out the trash. And they remember this only when the bucket is almost full.
Of course, this method surprised me a lot. But I did not use it in the future. It's not cheap to buy trash bags all the time. I prefer to use regular supermarket bags instead. You need to use them somewhere!
