Greetings to all our subscribers!

If you decide to cook a brazier for yourself, or order it from a friend of the welder, I will give practical advice on its design so that it does not lead from the heat and it will serve you for a very long time.

A year and a half ago I cooked a collapsible brazier suitcase for myself, and I'll show you how to do it using the example of its design.

And here it is, a simple solution to thermal deformations. You just need to weld the corners around the perimeter of the barbecue closer to the top edge. Also, the corner should be welded at the bottom, along its longer part in the middle.

Now I will show how the corners help from deformation of the sides of the barbecue.

We kindle firewood and burn the required amount of coals. Anyone who closely watched the burning fire in the brazier saw that its walls began to bend inward.

This happens because the metal expands greatly from heating, and therefore the inner surface of the barbecue, having increased in volume, simply from the fact that there is no one to go to, will become a tubercle.

Knowing this, we understand that as soon as the heat begins to extinguish, the metal also cools down and tries to return to its previous form. But if these corners welded from the outside were not there, then it would not work to return to the previous shape at the sides of the barbecue.

And the corners here will play, as it were, the role of springs as in the suspension of a car! The corner pulls back the sheet metal of the sides of the barbecue to its original straight shape.

I tested my barbecue for the first time all 2 days off. Used fruit wood, no store coals.

There was not even a hint of deformation.

The brazier survived without deformations until the warm season, I won't say that I use it very often, but it was in business a dozen times. No purchased charcoal, only fruit or oak firewood.

Friends, have a good weekend with barbecue!
