In recent years, I have started to appear in the country wasps. At first, there were not a lot and I did not pay any attention to it. Fly one - two wasps when I eat, fly around, sit on a jam or sweet rolls and fly away. Unpleasant of course, but not a disaster at all happens.
But over time, wasps become more and more. They do not bite, but flew with 3-5 pieces, which was bothering me. At first, I decided to go to a specialized company. But it turned out to be expensive and they did not give absolutely no guarantee. I have such conditions is not arranged, and I decided to act independently.
For a start it was necessary to determine where the nest of these harmful insects. Searching few days, I found that in my area there is no nest. Wasps fly with some bordering areas. Then I decided to use a national method of combating these pests.
Make a trap against wasps
The method is based on a simple trap which is made of plastic bottles of 1-1.5 liters.
The upper part of the bottle is trimmed exactly turned over and inserted back. We must try to cut smoothly, otherwise there will be gaps, and the wasps will be able to get through them.
From the beginning of the neck to the bottom should be at least 5-7 cm.
After that, put in a bottle of bait for wasps. This may be an old jam fermented or spoiled fruit. Between the lure and the neck there is at least 2 cm.
By the sweet bait you can add poison to insects, which is sold in any gardening store. But I did not trap him because I do not like any chemistry. Flying into the bank, the wasps can not get out and die.
For the first 4 days I was able to catch 16 a, after "catch" was smaller, but I left a trap hang until late summer. Now, these insects do not disturb me practical.
To create a trap it took me 15 minutes, I had not spent a single penny.
