Cutting metal with a large grinder is not an easy job. You hold the tool by the handles, and it seeks to run forward. You put in a lot of effort to put the blade back in place and keep working. It is especially difficult for beginners with this instrument, after a minute of work the hands are already oak and the back gets tired. I will show you 2 tricks on how to cut a lot of metal with a large grinder as quickly as possible and at the same time not feel tired.

Imagine a grinder disc in the shape of a clock face. We need to conditionally divide it into sectors. Sectors from 6 to 9 hours. In the photo, I have drawn these sectors on the disk with a blue pencil. Apparently not very much, but I did not find anything brighter in the garage, the chalk disappeared somewhere!

Why do we need these sectors?

Here is a piece of metal. To cut as quickly as possible, we need to bury the disc into the metal to a certain depth, we will focus on our conditional sectors. We deepen and cut with a sector between 7 and 8 o'clock. In this position, the speed and ease of cutting will be the highest. And we cut with such movements - we buried the disk into this sector, we go a centimeter forward, we go back a centimeter. And so on the entire length of the cut.

Another trick is to keep your hands from getting tired.

When we cut with a large grinder, as in the photo, for a 230 disc, we need to somehow reduce the stress on our hands. This is when there is a large amount of cutting in order not to get tired halfway! After we have deepened the disc into the sector we need, we simply press the end of the handle against the calf muscle on the leg and work like that. By this action, we will colossally relieve our hands and can work much longer without fatigue and stress.

I work with a large grinder with a 2 mm thick cutting disc. I consider it to be optimal in terms of cutting speed. I saw sparks on myself, this topic is the most scandalous among the masters, half saws from myself, half like me. Cut these 2 blanks - a piece of sheet metal 3 mm thick and a small piece from the end of the channel.

Cutting speed and ease at height. Friends, this is still a photo, and tomorrow, November 17, a detailed video with all these actions will be released on the channel.

So if you follow these 2 simple rules, then you can cut a large amount of metal without getting tired.
