A strict sequence of works will help to extend the service life of bulk paths. After all measurements, markings are made. For this purpose, use small pegs, a rope and a tape measure or meter tape. If the paths are planning smooth curves, you will have to stock up on an old garden hose. After marking the boundaries with a shovel, the upper fertile soil layer is removed. It is enough to make a deepening of 30 cm. Then the bottom of the ditch is lined with geotextile or agricultural canvas. Covering will further prevent weeds from growing that could compromise the integrity of the tracks.
A curb is installed along the edges of the trench. You can purchase a finished product in a building hypermarket or build it yourself from old bricks. At the bottom of the ditch, sifted river sand 15 cm high is poured.
The sand pillow is well watered and tamped. You can pour pebbles or gravel on top, carefully leveling the pebbles.
The maintenance of such paths consists in periodic cleaning of weeds, sprinkling paths in places of strong sagging and leveling their surface with a garden rake.
In landscape design, pebble trails are often used when arranging flower beds. The fine fraction is supplemented with red clinker tiles or volumetric boulders. Sometimes they combine gravel paths with willow fences of low height.
When decorating a garden, stone paths are built without the use of borders. This makes the landscape look more natural. In this case, unnecessarily narrow or heavily branched paths should not be done. Instead of natural beauty, they can bring a sense of clutter and clutter.
The pool can also be framed with pebbles. Such a path will look beautiful, and it is pleasant to walk on smooth stones with bare feet.

You can save on materials, although this is quite difficult to do. Old bricks and concrete blocks, pallets, unnecessary boards and tree cuts can be used.
In the garden or flower garden, you can arrange paths made of coniferous bark. Weeds will not germinate through such a covering, and the material itself is well compacted. Near a small fountain or other artificial reservoir, such paths can also be made, since the material is not afraid of moisture.
If there are old boards or pallets on the farm, paths are built from them. The material itself is pleasant to the touch and always looks good. The cost of such structures will not be high, while the wooden paths themselves are considered wear-resistant and environmentally friendly.
Boards are also laid out on a pre-prepared sand cushion. To extend the life of the coating, you can install logs. The tree allows you to beat any irregularities in the landscape, therefore it is often used on slopes and descents.
