- Gruel is prepared from dried peelings. They are broken into small pieces and, filled with hot water, are kept for a week, stirring occasionally. This mixture is applied at the root.
- Potato infusion is prepared from fresh or frozen peelings. They are placed in a vat of hot water and infused for 24 hours in a warm place. Garden and ornamental crops are watered with this liquid once every 2 weeks during the entire growing season.
Potato top dressing of horticultural crops contributes to the preservation of ovaries and affects the maturation of the crop. Flour is introduced into the soil at some distance from the trunk and mixed with the soil. This fertilization provides the plants with all the necessary nutrients for development and improves the quality of the fruit.
